The role - BDE Representative
To be a successful Academy Associate in this track at the entry level, you must possess general IT/business knowledge, a passion for customer excellence, customer relationship building, negotiation, forecasting, and complex decision-making. This role serves as an entry point, acting as the training ground to grow into more customer-facing, outside sales roles.
At the SoftwareONE Academy, you will gain a comprehensive knowledge of all SoftwareONE solutions and service offerings, internal and external standard operating procedures, and closely follow vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders. You will become a valuable addition to a team that sells and promotes the solutions and services offered by SoftwareOne.
Commencing in April 2024, this transformative program will kick off in Slovenia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Poland and Turkiye, offering you a unique opportunity to launch your career in the thriving tech landscapes of these countries.
Responsibilities:
Once assigned to a team, you will be expected to familiarize yourself with the scope of work committed by SoftwareOne to each customer your team engages with. Your responsibilities include assisting the project manager to track and update project timelines, liaising between relevant teams internally, ensuring project timelines are met, highlighting red flags, and documenting all aspects - meetings, updates, issues raised, solutions provided, etc. Additionally, you will track and follow up with client finance teams for pending payments.
From day one, you'll be mentored by friendly, skilled colleagues to ensure you can deliver value to teams and customers quickly and efficiently. You will gain broad experience, contributing to the needs of existing SoftwareOne customers and showcasing solutions to existing and potential customers.
Požadavky
We are looking for individuals with a passion for sales as a profession and a strong inclination towards healthy negotiation practices. Desired qualifications include:
A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Internal motivation and drive to succeed in a goal-driven position
Willingness to learn in a fast-paced sales environment
Ability to embrace feedback and hold oneself accountable
Eagerness to learn technology basics and apply them to business situations
Self-assured, curious, not afraid to pick up the phone and reach out to a cold contact
Team player and enjoyable to work with.
